Green bean casserole

Ingredients

1.5 pounds Green beans cut ends off and cut into half
10 oz Mushrooms chopped into pieced
Red onion sliced thinly
3 cloves fresh garlic minced
bacon  about 4 slices
Bread crumbs about 1/4 cup
2 Tbsp of butter
2 Tbsp of flour
2 cups of stock
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup of grated Parmiggiano cheese
Salt

Cooking Instructions

Blanch green beans.  Cook beans until tender.  Blanching is not enough.
fry bacon until crisp
remove bacon the add slice onions
Sauté onions until soft
Add bread crumbs to sautéed onions
fry until onions are crisp
Drain onions then place a paper towel to drain
Add 1 stick on butter to pan that had onions 
After butter melts add mushrooms
After mushroom cook add garlic and flour
stir to create a roux
Add stock and stir
Add cream and stir
add cheese and stir
Salt to taste
Stir until thickens then remove from heat and add green beans.
Pour into casserole dish
Top with crumbled bacon and onions
