Ingredients

  • 750 ml bottle of red wine (Rioja, Merlot, or Pinot Noir)
  • ½ cup Silver Tequila
  • ½ cup Orange liqueur (Triple Sec or Cointreau)
  • ½ cup Simple syrup (1:1 ratio sugar and water)
  • ½ cup Orange juice (freshly squeezed preferred)
  • ¼ cup Lime juice (freshly squeezed preferred)
  • Ice
  • Garnish: Lime and orange slices

  • Cooking Instructions

  • Mix: In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, tequila, orange liqueur, simple syrup, orange juice, and lime juice.
  • Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let flavors meld.
  • Serve: Prepare glasses by rubbing a lime wedge on the rim and dipping in salt. Fill glasses with ice, pour the sangria, and garnish with citrus slices.
